Anik Gupta, aka “Lil’ Football Fan” is a eleven-year-old boy on a mission. By day, he’s just another precocious third grader at Thales Academy in Apex, North Carolina. But after the final bell rings, he’s the kid with the ultimate side hustle. With the help of his family and friends, Anik is chasing his dream of becoming a sportscaster!
From the age of five, Anik has been positively obsessed with NFL football. By age six, he could identify all 32 NFL teams and logos, and by age eight he was appearing on regional TV broadcasts and national podcasts! All along, he’s been dreaming of being an NFL contributor for ESPN, Fox Sports, and CBS Sports.
From shooting YouTube clips from his home in Cary to guest appearances on news shows, podcasts, or a ballgame near you, Anik is bringing his love of all things NFL to the enjoyment of fans of all ages.
At the younger end of Gen Z, Anik is the son of proud parents who immigrated to the US from India. Sometimes you’ll see mom Radhika and dad Sachin, along with his trusty sister Anushka, helping him grow and enjoy pursuing his passion of sports broadcasting.
